Giovanna Silvestre aka ‘Confused Girl’ decided to launched her Yoga wear brand after a significant time in her life. After a successful start, the brand is establishing its name world wide.

Currently finishing her first own book, the social media influencer has a sorts of stories and experiences to share. Silvestre graduated with honours after studying International Relations. Afterwards, she spent several years in the entertainment industry, which would bless her with the opportunities to participate in productions of names such as Peter Jackson & Kenneth Branagh, Marvel & ABC. Growing up as the daughter of an Italian immigrant who successfully built his own business in hospitality in the USA, the entrepreneurial spirit and motivation was always apparent to Giovanna Silvestre.

Though it was after a life changing ‘internal awakening’ about 6 years ago, that Giovanna Silvestre was truly inspired to launch her own business. Motivated by the lessons she learned from a spiritual healer at the time, she took photos of healing crystals and found the right partners to turn them into her Yoga wear brand’s design. ’Confused Girl In The City’ sell the popular Yoga pants, fully made in Los Angeles. A journey that has taught the young entrepreneur many lessons, as well as great success. The trademark pants have been featured in international magazines such as Forbes, Yoga Digest & Silicon Beach Magazine. One achievement Silvestre is extremely proud of is her brand’s appearance on the cover of Yoga LA. Seeing the magazine all over the city’s hot spots for months, with her product on the front page, was a dream come true.

“ Two favorite entrepreneurial moments were when my intern was in Munich Germany and texted me that she saw a girl biking by in our leggings. Also, when I was having a moment of doubt and I saw a girl walking by in our leggings in Venice beach as I was driving past her. These are a few of my favorite moments. I love seeing our customers feeling confident and happy in our apparel.”

The influencer-turned-founder is grateful for her success and is looking to share a rare insight into the challenges and solutions she faced in her career and life. Behind the bright stories, there were struggles, fears and ‘confusion’, as everybody else faces them when they are looking for major change in life. In her book ‘Seven Things Every Confused Girl Should Do’ , she shares her experiences and wants to “help women of every age to navigate a positive life course through a rapidly changing world of new opportunities that, while seemingly daunting in some respects, nevertheless offers women greater potential than ever before for achieving self-fulfillment through the discovery and pursuit of their true nature and passions.”

The ideal of empowering other women plays a huge part in SIlvestre’s career, the spiritual spark that initiated her journey definitely hasn’t left. Just like her loyal following, of which many will remember her first steps as a blogger. It will be especially those, that are looking forward to read her printed debut soon. And it seems certain, that the book is just going to bring another new chapter.
