Elmokhtar Berrabah first caught public attention with his his ITV performance in the UK. What followed is the start of a real career.
There are many ways of entering the fashion industry, but establishing yourself takes certain qualities. The proud Irishman & Moroccan, whose friends call him ‘Elmo’, made the conscious decision to tackle his goals and become a model only recently, but with great success.
He credits his cultural mix and experiences through travelling, one of his biggest passions, as crucial for his success. During his studies in Computer Sciences at the Liverpool John Moores University, he developed a strong interest in fashion, branding himself, and modelling. Being picked up by a local agency was his jumpstart into the new universe.
Shortly after, online fashion retailer boohoo man reached out to Elmo. The fashion newbie was chosen to become an ambassador for the brand, after convincing them with his authentic personality and an attractive amount of online fans. It was about the same time that his career would receive another boost. British TV channel ITV picked the aspiring model to star on their fashion show ‘Dress To Impress’. A task, that he seems to have mastered very well.
A Humble Man, With Big Dreams
The humble 23 year old enjoys the spotlight, but knows where his heart is. Quality time with family and friends or self-care time at the gym are still his priorities, when he isn’t in front of the camera. Berrabah is confident his Irish charms and big smile are going to bring him much further than his achievements already prove, with his eyes firmly set on the international market.
