The Beverly Hills based owner and CEO of Khuri Enterprises & FJ Holdings has a story in e-com distribution that reaches back a little further than the new wave of Shopify & BigCommerce starters. His level of business is barely comparable with modern drop shipping sensation, yet he is an inspiration and motivation for anyone to enter online retailing.
Khuri started his career in commercial real estate in 2001, today he owns multiple apartment buildings in the City Of Angels, as well as medical buildings in New York. He’s currently looking to enter the spectrum of warehouses & refrigerated warehouses, a branch that overlaps with the activities of his companies under FJ Holdings.
One of those companies recently joined an exclusive club: As a one of only 10 business world wide, Amazon assigned a representative to work exclusively with James Khuri’s company. In a recent Forbes magazine interview, he revealed:
“We’ve been able to develop a brand-new distribution model that’s unique in the entire system of worldwide distribution. In fact, Amazon just hired an employee specifically for one of my companies to work with us in the 136 countries that we sell to. They’ve only done this for ten suppliers in the whole world. Amazon is going to help us work with the government to establish an online platform.”
Amazon, the global e-tail champion, has celebrated a growth of 63% worth on the stock market in 2020. In numbers, the company was evaluated around $920 million in March, and has exhilarated to over $1.49 trillion during the lockdown situation applied after the measurements against the global pandemic. Where the year has taken huge losses on the retail, e-commerce has has exponential growth, leaving some clear winners.
One of them is James Khuri. With an expanding range of products, adapting fulfilment & distribution plans, the entrepreneur is set to exceed this years growth in the coming.
