Perion Launches Ask Perion as AI Reshapes Omnichannel Marketing Workflows

Integrated into the Perion One platform, Ask Perion combines media planning and campaign intelligence into a self-service experience powered by AI. The company has also launched the Ask Perion Mobile App (set to debut at Cannes Lions 2026), allowing users to access the platform’s capabilities from virtually anywhere. The mobile app is debuting at Cannes Lions 2026.

Reimagining How Marketers Use Campaign Data

For many marketing organizations, executing omnichannel campaigns means juggling multiple reporting systems, planning tools, and analytics dashboards. Although these platforms generate valuable insights, they can also create operational bottlenecks that delay campaign decisions.

Perion’s latest release is designed to address that challenge by replacing fragmented workflows with a conversational interface that enables marketers to retrieve insights and generate campaign plans through simple prompts.

The platform is built around two specialized AI agents. The Insights Agent answers questions about campaign performance, providing summaries across metrics such as spending, delivery, pacing, creative performance, and channel activity. The Planning Agent focuses on campaign creation, transforming marketing briefs into structured media plans that align with predefined business objectives.

Instead of requiring users to navigate multiple systems, Ask Perion is intended to bring planning and analysis together in a single workflow.

Expanding Self-Service Capabilities

The launch represents more than a new feature set. It is also part of Perion’s broader strategy to expand self-service capabilities within its advertising platform.

By allowing marketers to independently generate campaign plans and analyze performance, the company aims to shorten execution timelines while reducing the operational resources needed to support customers. The approach reflects a growing trend across enterprise software, where AI is increasingly being deployed to simplify user experiences while improving organizational efficiency.

The addition of the Ask Perion Mobile App further supports that vision by extending the platform beyond desktop environments. Users can access campaign insights, create media plans, and engage with the platform’s AI agents directly from their mobile devices, making campaign management more flexible for distributed marketing teams.

A Step Toward AI-Native Advertising

Tal Jacobson, CEO of Perion, said the launch reflects a broader shift in how marketers will interact with advertising technology. “Ask Perion is another step we’re taking to serve marketers worldwide and help them reach their goals with minimum effort,” he said, adding that the platform moves users away from navigating complex software and toward “simply asking questions and generating instant plans.”

Jacobson described the release as “a significant step forward in our ongoing journey toward a self-serve execution model.” He said the phased rollout is designed to help customers improve return on investment while streamlining Perion’s operational workflows and creating the foundation for scalable revenue growth, supporting the company’s long-term objectives through 2028.

An Industry Moving Toward Agentic AI

Perion’s announcement reflects a wider transformation taking place across the advertising technology sector. AI is increasingly being incorporated not only to automate repetitive tasks but also to serve as the primary interface through which users interact with enterprise platforms.

This evolution is giving rise to agentic systems capable of answering questions, generating recommendations, and assisting with campaign execution in real time.
