Some people spend a lifetime trying to figure out what their passion is, but Liam Dineen found his answer when he discovered his love for music at the age of just six. Here we find out how his desire to play the piano as a child inspired him on his journey to becoming a music producer.
The Covid-19 crisis has caused unprecedented disruption to sectors around the world, including the music industry. But amid the chaos caused by the virus, music producer and social media kingpin Liam Dineen has learnt a valuable lesson.
The 33-year-old, from Birmingham in the UK, has learnt that nothing is guaranteed following a year of being in lockdown because of the global pandemic. However, despite the challenges during the pandemic, Liam has had plenty of time to map out his goals for the future as he sets out his vision towards further achievements.
Mostly known for his mellow approach to music, and his meme style content online, Liam is equipped with a range of talents. His first taste of music was at the tender age of six, when he started playing the piano. This is where his love for playing, listening and making music began. Liam started life in the music business around 2004 – and he has never looked back since. He played the drums in a backing band for two rap groups in Birmingham. They went onto record a few singles and appeared in a few local TV broadcasts.
Meanwhile, his work online started around 2013 when he started a self-titled Facebook page posting memes and anything relatable to the times, which took off and now sits at around 8.5 million followers. A truly superb achievement.
Album release
The determined individual’s future goals are ambitious, and may seem daunting for most, but he has no doubt that he will achieve them.
His future goals are to continue supplying his followers with content whether that be music or memes and viral content.
Liam has used his online platform to promote his music. He will be releasing a single in the coming months and will be working on releasing an album towards the end of the year, which will all be independently released.
Of course, there is no shortage of people trying to make their mark in the music industry and the online world.
But it is clear to see that the talent and work ethic that Liam possesses set him apart from the rest.
He is very creative and driven whether it be musically or idea wise for a project. Furthermore, he is also a ‘realist’ so sometimes he says things that people don’t particularly want to hear, but need to hear.
In today’s world, finding figures who are willing to speak their mind and be honest can be rare. But it is a trait which Liam will never let go of, it is simply part of who he is.
Family life
Furthermore, Liam is not only busy with his business goals but also his family life. However, he has managed to find the balance between them both.
His son is 10 years old and he is taking to the whole online and YouTube world.
And for Liam, telling his son to chase his dreams of becoming a YouTuber and pursuing an online career is what he would have liked someone to say to him at 10 years old and not at 26 when he started.
Liam is fully aware of the importance of encouraging those who find their passion at a young age to pursue it.
With Liam by his side to guide him during his life, his son could very well be following in his successful father’s footsteps in the future.
