Originally born and raised in Leicester, UK, Bav Majithia made the courageous move to set out to London at only 21 years old, with no clear career assurance. Bav enjoys learning through practical means rather than theory, which meant formal education such as college wasn’t designed for him. Even from a young age, Bav Majithia enjoyed the perks of earning your own income. His independent mind appreciated hard work and was determined to make something of himself.
Bav’s move to London paid off when he secured a job in Southgate, London. It is inspiring to note that all Bav had when he made his move was his trusty air mattress to sleep on! Early on in his career, Bav Majithia was able to impress his managers. After having gained numerous skills, such as all the do’s and don’ts of business, effective selling, motivating staff, and instill loyalty into staff.
Soon after, Bav amazingly made a significant impact on the Telecom companies he was employed in. For instance, while the company on average made sales of 40 phones a day with 4 drivers, Bav rose a superstar employee and would make daily sales of 1,000 phones a day and boasted a fleet of 18 drivers and a robust courier network. Although Bav appreciated the neat operations, he moved onto a new job for another challenge. In his new role, Bav made a similar success by generating a positive turnover for the company, improving annual revenue from £2 million to £18 million!
Bav Majithia’s Competitive Edge
Bav Majithia clearly has the skills he needs to succeed. In one of his lavish farewell parties, Bav was presented the opportunity to start a company with a former colleague, which he grabbed in a heartbeat as he believed in the proposal. He founded Genuine Solutions with his co-founder on a 50/50 partnership. At Genuine Solutions, Bav and his co-founder successfully perfected operations and even won a few recognition awards along the way. Once Bav Majithia notices that he is at the peak of his learning, he is then ready to move on to discover greater opportunities.
With a strong passion for continuous learning, Bav Majithia bravely proceeds with new ventures. Most recently, Bav has been occupied as the Director for Creative Powerhouse, Visual Muse. The company’s goal is to enhance brands’ performances by providing extraordinary content that outperforms competitors. Bav is also connected to BrandChests – a Digital Marketing Company specializing in bringing brands together with talent and retailers, to combine the services and capabilities of Visual Muse and take the journey to the next level. Part of Bav’s entrepreneurial spirit is to persistently be on the lookout for new companies to invest in, that can benefit from both his skills and experience.
