We spoke with House Producer MODE12 to find out some random facts! Let’s start by asking you when you started producing music?
When I was thirteen. Did you always want to be a well known music producer/artist? I always wanted a UK Top 40, but I wasn’t necessarily concerned about being “famous” or anything like that. It has, is, and always will be about having that legacy over the fame and fortune.
What else did you want to be or were you good at?
I was very good at football. I actually played semi-professionally, and I was a very fast sprinter back in the day. My personal best for the 100m was around 11.7 seconds which was quick back then! So I guess it was always going to be either music or sports!
Where are you from originally and where do you reside now?
I am from London originally and I currently reside in the South West UK.
What do you do when you are not writing or producing music?
Reading and walking mainly, and family time. Spare time is at a premium though! What kind of mark do you hope to leave on the music scene? For me, when I achieve chart success with one of my singles, it will be bigger and better than winning 100million on the lottery because it is something that I have dreamed of since I first started out. And because I do everything myself, it will just be that much sweeter and authentic. So, beyond this, I just hope that people have a good time listening to my music and enjoy it.
Do you think that you will venture into different genres?
It is very likely. I was ghost producing for labels and artists for over 10 years and I made loads of different genres during this time, so if and when I decide to do this it will be really easy. Right now I am fully focused on commercial house music.
We love your debut single “Let Me Be Your Fantasy” what songs comes after?
I can’t give too much away other than to say that me and my management have the next three songs mapped out, and they all have the music videos produced and ready as well. I have also worked with two more artists from yesteryear on a couple of huge tracks. Watch this space!
Thanks for your time and we look forward to catching up with you again in the future!
Thank you, and sure, anytime!
