Meet Drayson Little, a young entrepreneur who went against all expectations to build a network of successful online retail companies.
Sometimes there are those stories that encourage us not to give up on our dreams and work hard until we make it. Drayson Little proved at an early age, that he practices what he preaches. Ever since he was a child, he wanted to be either the inventor of a product or a CEO of his own company. He developed a business driven mind at a very young age, having made thousands of dollars in profit before leaving high school by re-selling high fashion items.
Nowadays, he makes more than a decent living from multiple drop shipping e-commerce businesses. Perhaps because he began his work way back when he was in his sophomore year, by the time he was in his twenties, he had already generated over $2 million in sales. He has only just turned 21 and turned his multiple online retail pages into 6 to 7-figure revenue machines.
If you are not familiar with drop shipping, the written definition states that it is “a streamlined form or retail business wherein the seller accepts customer orders, but does not keep goods sold in stock.” Now you can probably appreciate why this would be an attractive business for many. A lot of people would like to get into the e-commerce game, but storage of goods for sale is a concern. Most people starting out will not have the existing space or cash to be able to have what is required for a full shop, but dropshipping gets around that problem.
Of course, Drayson Little must remain sharp to beat off his rivals – and in the e-commerce game, there is no shortage of these. As he rightly points out, more people than ever are getting into online selling because we are in the digital era, after all. So what does he have in mind to help keep the customers choosing him over an alternative?
He points to 3 main factors. One is the customer service aspect, another is his advertising strategy and, finally, the website design itself is another contributing factor. Sure, there is plenty of work that is done behind the scenes as well, via the back-end, that keeps things ticking along and running smoothly.
He also mentions that he understands something that perhaps his rivals don’t, and that is what makes a customer inclined to make an impulse purchase. It is a good point to consider, as a fair volume of online purchases are often impulse buys. Hopefully, all of these measures will help his empire to grow even further, but in the meantime, he has proven that dreams can come true – he just needed to work hard so that they could!
