Abraham Adegeye from Vienna has established himself amongst Europe’s top fashion influencers in the last years. But how does a passion turn into a full-time occupation?
There is usually a good story behind someone’s career choice. For Abraham Adegeye, or better known as ‘Abrahamdailydosis‘ the roots go back to his youth. Whilst in school Abraham enjoyed uploading photos of his outfits, at first as a hobby rather than any business venture of such. But after a little while, around 4 years ago from current time, he hit a professional standard of fashion photography, which has led to some great gigs!
This includes work with familiar names such as Coca-Cola, Vans, Converse, Fossil, H&M and Umbro. These campaigns would have been widely viewed with many receiving plenty of press attention. Part of what Abraham does with his fashion photography and also the videos he makes for YouTube and Instagram involves modelling and that is an aspect of his career he would like to pursue further.
One thing about Abraham is he is not trying to copy the ways of his competition but instead make sure he stays unique, he believes that will help his staying power in a crowded industry. Fashion is not short of influencers and so to keep in the viewing line it is going to help to stand out. Abraham plans on doing this by keeping his video productions going, perhaps targeting Instagram a little more as it is such a highly used platform these days. And one that suits fashion photography perfectly.
Abraham comes across as an authentic guy who wants to share what he does but remains true to himself. He seems to lack any interest in acting a certain way just to court views and sell something, he says that selling does not come first, inspiring people however does. When he creates his material he explores all sorts of styles meaning people can see plenty of variety in what he does.
With the kind of reach, he may be expected by some to launch a spin-off business. This is something he is looking into, he says he is brainstorming however not in a rush to do anything along those lines at the moment. Instead, he is concentrating on enhancing his modelling and YouTube channel, which he enjoys as it allows him to show plenty of his personality, something that he is also able to do with a blog which he regularly uploads to. Abraham seems to enjoy sharing his passion for fashion and there is a good chance he will inspire others to do the same!
