Viewz Raises $7M To Redefine Finance As Infrastructure, Not A Stack Of Tools

Despite years of digital transformation, most finance organizations still rely on a patchwork of disconnected systems. General ledgers sit alongside spreadsheets, payroll tools, outsourced services, and reporting platforms that rarely speak the same language. Even with automation and AI now embedded across the enterprise stack, financial operations often remain reactive and dependent on manual reconciliation.

It’s this structural inefficiency that Viewz is targeting as it emerges from stealth with a $7 million seed round led by Ibex Investors and Flint Capital. Rather than adding another tool to an already crowded ecosystem, the company is positioning itself as a replacement layer for how financial operations are built and executed.

The problem is structure, not software

For decades, finance leaders have attempted to improve operations by layering new tools on top of old systems. But according to Viewz, that approach has failed to address the underlying issue: fragmented architecture and inconsistent data.

Viewz founding team

The company’s founding team, composed of Moti Cohen, Omer Aviad, and Liran Kessel, brings more than 50 years of combined experience across audit, CFO leadership, and financial operations. Their thesis is simple: the problem is not a lack of intelligence, but a lack of structure.

“I started Viewz because I spent 20 years watching finance fail in the same way, not from a lack of data, but from a lack of structure. We are not a better tool. We are a different answer to the same question every finance leader has been asking for years: why does this still feel so hard?” said Cohen.

That argument directly challenges a prevailing trend in enterprise software, where AI is increasingly layered onto fragmented systems in an effort to unlock efficiency. Viewz contends that without a unified data foundation, those efforts only amplify inconsistency rather than resolve it.

A unified operating model for finance

Instead of integrating into existing stacks, Viewz replaces them with a single operating model. The platform combines a native general ledger, AI agents, and an embedded expert finance layer that spans bookkeeping, FP&A, payroll, compliance, and reporting.

At the center is a governed, unified ledger where financial data is continuously structured, reconciled, and updated daily. This enables what the company calls a “continuous close,” removing the need for traditional month-end cycles that often create bottlenecks across finance teams.

“Finance was never meant to feel this heavy. But it does. More tools. More people. Less clarity. That’s the problem we set out to fix – not by improving the model, but by replacing it,” Cohen added.

The shift from periodic to continuous finance reflects a broader movement in enterprise software: as AI adoption accelerates, system reliability and data consistency are becoming prerequisites for meaningful automation.

Early results suggest replacement, not augmentation

Since launching quietly a year ago, Viewz reports reaching multi-million-dollar ARR, strong Q4 growth, and zero voluntary churn. That combination has drawn attention from investors who see signals of deep operational dependency rather than experimental usage.

“Moti, Omer, and Liran have spent twenty years inside the problem they’re now solving. You can feel it in how they talk to CFOs. Most finance-oriented startups are layering intelligence on top of broken plumbing. Viewz rebuilt the plumbing. That’s a much harder thing to do, and it’s the only version of automated finance that scales,” said Aaron Rinberg, Partner at Ibex Investors.

That perspective was echoed by Sergey Gribov, General Partner at Flint Capital, who emphasized retention over growth metrics.

“What stood out wasn’t the growth; it was the retention. Zero voluntary churn tells you customers aren’t using Viewz alongside their existing tools. They’re using it instead. One thing that really caught my attention was feedback from one of my CFOs: if he were using this platform, he believes he could run his team with roughly 30% fewer people.”

Customer adoption patterns appear to reinforce that narrative. “Viewz is my finance department from A to Z; everything I need in one place. When I moved companies, I brought Viewz in from day one,” said Erez Fisher, VP of Finance at Dig Security.

Infrastructure as the defining layer of AI-era finance

Viewz’s positioning places it closer to infrastructure than traditional SaaS. Rather than selling point solutions, the company is delivering a fully operational finance function as a system of record and execution.

This distinction may become increasingly important as enterprises evaluate AI investments. If intelligence depends on the quality of underlying data, then the systems that govern that data become central to performance.

With its $7 million seed round, Viewz plans to expand its vision of a “fully agentic finance team,” built directly into its unified system. The broader implication is a shift in how finance technology is understood, not as a collection of tools stitched together, but as a continuously operating system designed from the ground up.

In that context, the companies redefining the foundation of finance operations may ultimately shape the next generation of enterprise performance, not just its software stack.
